Our story

How we got our start? In 1994, KidCo was the first company to introduce metal safety gates to the US and has since developed an extensive range of items, all designed and engineered in the United States. The Gateway, our first gate, was a completely new concept in pressure mounted, walk-through gate design. What makes our product unique? KidCo gates are constructed of heavy duty, tubular steel with robotic welding and form fitting. All plastic parts are nylon based with fiberglass reinforcement to ensure strength, durability and longevity! Why we love what we do? We keep children safe!

As this gate is a ‘build-your-own’ system, you can add as many extensions as you need to custom fit your home.
